  #1 - Hoyts Frankston - 06/01/2023 So my first cinema, my first film for the year and my most visited cinema before this endeavour. Hoyts Frankston is my local cinema and where I see most movies every year. Originally the cinema was opened as an AMC (Australian Multiplex Cinemas) and I remember it being a big deal when it opened up. There were two other cinemas in the Frankston CBD. Both of them were on the Nepean Highway. One was a small, 2 screen cinema that offered cheap ticket prices. The other was a multiplex that I don’t remember going to that often (likely because of the cheaper option across the road). The movie I saw for my first-new visit was Operation Fortune: Ruse de Geurre. It’s the latest film from director Guy Ritchie. It’s also been a film that’s been a long-time coming, having been delayed last year unexpectedly. It kept getting pushed, and pushed, before finally just disappearing from the release schedule entirely. Until a month.or so ago when the film finally popped
